Student Research Opportunities

There are a number of ways to take your research projects beyond class.  The resources below are opportunities to get positive exposure for the work you are doing, start a scholarly conversation with your peers, and show off your accomplishments on your CV or resume.

Humanorum: The Central Michigan University Journal on Society

An undergraduate double blind-reviewed research journal sponsored by the College of Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences.  The mission of this relatively new, student-run journal is to support and promote high-quality undergraduate research in the disciplines of English Language and Literature; Foreign Languages, Literatures and Cultures; History; Military Science and Leadership; Philosophy and Religion; Political Science; Psychology and Neuroscience; Sociology, Anthropology and Social Work; Women and Gender Studies; and associated fields.

The Honors Platform

The CMU Honors online student-produced journal. Student editors select and choose student-submitted research, scholarship, and creative pieces for publication in the Platform.

The Central Review

A literary journal publishing poetry, fiction, and nonfiction by CMU undergraduate and graduate students.

SCREE

The Annual Student Research and Creative Endeavors Exhibition celebrates the innovative work of CMU students by providing them with an opportunity to share their research and scholarly and creative endeavors with the university community.
